About Home Décor by Murphy’s

Home Décor by Murphy’s was started in 1989 by a very young self taught designer named Travis Murphy. The company then was known as Murphy’s Herbs, primarily a wholesale company that supplied home décor items to retail stores across the nation. In the year of 2005 the company was sold after 15 years in business. At the age of 35, Travis has always had a passion for Christmas and home décor — these two things have led him to this chapter of his life. The opening of a New Christmas and home décor retail division located in Peoria, Illinois in the very prestigious life style center known as the Shoppes at Grand Prairie. He would like to invite anyone who may ever be in the area to stop by the store where he would be glad to meet and visit with you at anytime. Also in addition to the retail store he has completed a dream of having his own web site in which people all over the world could have access to his products. This site targets 12 months a year following each changing season.

To all my customers and future customers:

I would like to thank each and every one of you for letting me be able to call my passion and love in life my job. I love home décor especially Christmas and love to design any room. (Watch for my design center to open in 2008 that could bring me along with my team to help you create a beautiful room in your house. This service will be available all over the country.) with 15 years experience in decorating and designing I spent those 15 years with 3 things in mind and built that business with these 3 things and will continue this in both the retail and online businesses.
